# Library

The Library section is a unified repository that combines both the Course Library and the Content Library to allow users to discover, manage, and interact with a variety of learning resources such as courses, files, videos, and documents.

# Course Library

# 1. Course Cards

Each course is presented as a card that includes:

  • Course Image: Visual cover of the course.
  • Course Title: Name of the course.
  • Time Since Added: Displays how recently the course was added to the platform.

# 2. Search & Filter

Users can refine their view with:

  • Category Dropdown: Filter courses by categories such as Technical, Sales, Onboarding, etc.
  • Search Bar: Look up courses using course name or keywords.

# 3. Course Options

Each course card has a three-dot menu providing options such as:

  • Share: Share the course with others through a generated link.

# Content Library

The content library hosts all uploaded files like documents, videos, and images that can be reused in courses or shared independently.

# Key Features:

  1. Upload Functionality

    • Use the Upload button to add files (videos, documents, images, etc.) to the library.

  2. Filtering by File Type

    • Use the File Type dropdown to filter by:
      • Videos
      • Documents
      • Images
    • File types are tied to Custom Fields which are admin-configurable.

  3. Sorting Options

    • All: View all accessible content.
    • My Content: View content uploaded by you.
    • Bookmarks: View content you've bookmarked.

  4. Sort By Filters

    • Relevant: Based on contextual relevance.
    • Date: Based on date of upload.
    • Name: Alphabetically by title.
    • Size: Based on file size.

  5. View Toggle

    • Switch between Grid View and List View for different browsing experiences.

# Three-dot Menu Actions

Click the three-dot icon on a content card to access:

  • Share: Share the content via a link with an optional expiration date.
  • Copy Link: Get a direct link to share the content (no expiration).
  • Download: Download the content locally.
  • Rename: Change the content title.
  • Delete: Remove the content permanently.

This unified library helps streamline access to learning materials and enhances discoverability through powerful filtering and management tools.
