# Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to delete channels.
  • Be aware that deleting a channel is permanent and cannot be undone.

# Steps to Delete a Channel

  1. Navigate to the Channels section.
  2. Locate the channel you wish to delete.
  3. Click the Delete button.
  4. Confirm your action in the pop-up dialog box.

# ⚠️Important Considerations

  • Deleting a channel will remove all associated messages, files, and integrations.
  • Members will no longer have access to the deleted channel.
  • Consider archiving the channel instead if you want to preserve its content.
